Oxygen Free Copper has the highest conductivity of any of the copper alloys, thanks to the fact that it has had most of its oxygen removed during the forging process. This type of copper is widely used in electronics as well as manufacturing.

Oxygen Free Copper is available in the following format:

Coil

  • Widths up to 60” (1.524m)
  • Thicknesses from 0.050” (1.27mm) – .125” (3.175mm)
  • Annealed Temper

C110 Copper has high electrical and thermal conductivity, good corrosion resistance and solderability. C110 Copper is used for welding fixtures, anodes, bus bar in electrical power installations, ground straps, commutators and current-carrying hardware. Its inherent fabrication qualities readily permit it to be bent, soldered, drilled, peened, riveted and formed to fit almost any design specification. This copper has excellent hot workability. It becomes soft and ductile at a red heat.

C110 Copper is available in the following formats:

Sheet

  • Widths up to 60” (1.524m)
  • Gauges .021” (0.5334) – .1875” (4.762mm)
  • Tempers DDQ – ½ Hard
  • Variety of Finishes

Plate

  • Widths up to 36.5” (927.09mm)
  • Gauges .250”(6.35mm) – .75”(19.04mm)
  • Standard Temper

  • Hard Drawn Temper

C122 copper is most used in the manufacturing of tubes and pipes. This alloy forms the backbone of the refrigeration and air industry. The plumbing and heating sectors also depend on it. It provides tubes and pipes with the highest thermal conductivity of all standard heat exchanger materials and greater ductility than C110 copper. In addition, it allows better silver soldering, better arc welding with carbon electrode and gas atmosphere and finally, better oxyacetylene welding.

Copper C122 is available in the following formats:

Plumbing tubes (types K, L, M)

  • Length: 12 feet (3.657m) and 20 feet (6.096m)
  • Outside Diameter: 0.375″ (9.525mm) to 3″ (76.20mm)
  • Annealed and hardened states

DWV tubes

  • Length: 12 feet (3.657m)
  • Outside diameter: from 1.5″ (38.10mm) to 6″ (152.40mm)
  • Hardened state
